Here’s what you need to make an egg white mask for oily skin:

1 egg (separated)
Few drops of fresh lemon juice

  • Make sure skin in properly cleansed. Rise with warm water to open up the pores.
  • Dip your fingers into egg white mixture and gently apply it on to your skin. If you don’t want to get your hands messy, use a face mask brush. Apply it all over your face in circular upward motion.
  • Let it sit for 15-20 minutes. You skin should feel tight and the egg will create a thin layer.

Hi what about adding a drop of essential lemon oil instead of lemon juice?

Does it have to be fresh lemon juice or could you use the lemon juice out of the little lemon bottles?

This sounds like an excellent recipe, and I will do it, but I was wondering how often should I do this mask? How many times a week?

I love this mask! I had been using a pudding mask which was terrible to peel off and this was ten times better! I used lemon juice out of the bottle and it worked perfectly fine, definitely my new favorite mask

do you keep what is left over and use again, or do you throw away and make more every time?

I put it in a cup and put plastic warp over it. You want to make sure the plastic wrap actually touches the egg white (so there is no air between) though so it will need to drop down into the cup so a film doesn’t form. It should be good for about 2 days in the fridg.

How often should this be done?
And should I throw away the left over, or can it be used again?

Some of the yolk got in mine, but only a little bit. I’m still using it. It seems to be hardening fine, but I might add a little bit less lemon juice as some has definitely started to drip.

since your using raw egg shouldn’t you “wash” your face after & not just rinse with water?

I’m in the process of using it right now! It feels like my face is slowly being pulled in toward the center, and it feels funny. But because it hardens, it makes sense. Has anyone else used this and it be effective?

I just tried it once this week and my si have sensitive skin but my skin felt good. I was wondering how many times should you use it? Wasn’t sure it is a few times during the week or a month. After first my skin felt kinda try for a few mins and the it went away. I love it. . I’m trying diff things before my wedding in 6 months but I got a lot of compliments of how I look.

    Thank you.

I have used this mask twice now in the same week and I absolutely love it! I have fairly sensitive skin but it really works well! I make sure to thoroughly rinse it all off with warm water, and put a great moisturizer on right away afterwards. It feels very strange when it hardens, but it looks like it’s making a difference in my overall skin appearance!
